Details: Stim-Root, like other rooting hormones, will not make roots grow, rather it enhances the plants own ability to produce roots by supplying plant hormone at the point of rooting to help initiate root development. For softwood cuttings use Stim Root #1 - 0.1% Indole-3-butyric acid or IBA, ideal for softwood cuttings and easy to propagate plants. Stim-Root #1 has been proven to aid in the rooting of softwood cuttings such as geraniums, African violets, chrysanthemum, impatiens, etc.
