• Two grades of pumice used for best root functionality and it's porous which supports microbe populations. We use perlite for aeration and for its ability to aid in proper drainage. Coconut coir is used for moisture retention but it does not pack, which can cause root rot.
• We add Glacial and Basalt rock dust for ther benefit of over 50 major and trace minerals combined. Basalt has slow release properties which is ideal for the sustained health of the plants and the microbiome of the planting media.
• Vegan worm castings added for beneficial microbes and bioavailable humic and fulvic acids. These worm castings contain: biochar, kelp, vegan chitin. We specifically create these vegan castings for indoor use. In order to avoid pathogens, we do not expose our worms to any animal byproducts. No special precautions are needed when handling, just wash your hands as usual when finished.
