Details: By GRAYL, this GeoPress Replacement Water Filter and Purifier Cartridge is designed specifically for the GRAYL 24 oz GeoPress Water Filter and Purifier Bottle. It was released in April 2023 and is compatible with a GeoPress One-Way Electrolyte & Drink Mix Valve (sold separately). GeoPress makes clean, safe water from virtually any fresh water source and is designed for international travel, outdoor adventure and emergency use – anywhere in the world! It removes waterborne pathogens and parasites including virus, bacteria, protozoa cysts (e.g. rotavirus, hepatitis A, norovirus, giardiasis, cryptosporidium, E. coli, cholera, salmonella and dysentery). Filters particulates (sediment, microplastics), chemicals (PFAS, chlorine, benzene, chloroform), pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, chromium), flavors and odors.. Ideal for the rigors of international travel, backpacking, hiking, camping, canoeing, fly fishing, hunting, survival, and emergencies worldwide. Its lifespan is 350 uses (65 gal / 250 L), depending on water quality. The cartridge will require increased press time as it reaches the end of its lifespan, as impurities reduce the water flow. Once press time increases to over 25 seconds, the Purifier Cartridge should be replaced. Stored under proper conditions, an unopened Purifier Cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years (making it ideal for emergency and bug out kits). After a cartridge has been used, it can last at least 3 additional years. Weight: 3.8 oz (108 g). Size: 2.9" (7.3 cm) H x 3.1" (7.8 cm) W. Made from BPA-free materials: ABS food-grade plastic and food-grade silicone. Compatible with GRAYL 24 Fl Oz GeoPress Filter & Purifier Bottle.
