Details: It has 2 layers - inner PVC layer and woven fabric outer liner to replace the old style pure PVC blue color backwash hose. It is much durable compare with the blue ones. The diameter is enlareged to easily be inserted by existing barbed end(s). You could lubricate barbed end with some cooking oil if it is hard to insert. Or you can put few layers electric tape if it has small gap to make sure it won't leak.
